Past

Dr. Grant has served on many boards and stepped down to focus on her current elected NAACP Temple Branch President role. She has served as the Treasurer and chair of the Finance Committee for the Family Promise Board, Promise House Chair, and Promise House construction clerk for their new building that was built at 1411 E Avenue N. This land at the 24th Street Bridge overpass was once a baseball field of many joyous community and family games that I was privileged to watch when I visited. I was on the City of Temple's Comprehensive Plan Advisory Council, Temple's Board of Appeals, Temple Civic Theatre, Temple Founders Lions Club Board, Temple Railroad and Heritage Museum Foundation, A New Day Learning Academy, and Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Patient and Family Advisory Council.

Current

She remains a member of Temple Founders Lions Club and city government boards that serve the residents of Bell County. The remaining boards include 5 Pearlz of Hope in Killeen, A New Day Fellowship Church, the City of Temple's Board of Adjustments, Temple Neighborhood Revitalization Advisory Board. The memberships she belongs to are the Founders Lions Club, and she is a Life Member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She attends C.A.R.E. Leadership Network meetings and participates and presents with the East Temple Neighborhood Initiative on the Crestview District. She is the Crestview District Neighborhood Champion for one of the City of Temple's eighteen Neighborhood Coalition.
